Any event where I sell titles and get to do some holiday shopping is a win in my book! The Holiday Open House & Free Wine Tasting: Sip & Shop hosted by IncrediBREW Brewery was a blast.
If you’re not familiar with IncrediBREW, you’re missing out. They have, hands down, some of the best beer and wine around.
You can sample before you buy at their tasting counter, or brew your own from one of their hundreds and hundreds of recipes. Regular patrons have been known to tweak recipes to their liking as well, making for a truly customized (and delicious) brewing experience.
I can’t say enough good things about IncrediBREW. Their products are absolutely delicious, and with extremely fair prices, a visit to IncrediBREW has become an essential stop on my holiday shopping route. The owners, Erik and Sky, always deliver top-notch customer service, as well as a few laughs.
While there were a lot of great vendors at the Sip & Shop, selling everything from clothing to books (<–Hey, that was me!), here are just a few of my highlights:
–Kate & Emily Designs – Coolest. Play tents. Ever. These handmade play tents captured the imagination of the kid in me; I wanted ten.
They offer several different designs, but they can also customize their tents. Want a tie-dyed tent for the kids at your commune? No problem. Windows sewn in? Sure! Themed designs? They can do that, too.
Handmade with real wood and hand-crafted linens, these things are a step way above the cheap stuff you see at Toys R’ Us—my kids have already gone through two of the cheap kind. If you want a truly amazing gift for the little ones in your life, Kate & Emily Designs is the place to get them.
–KRM Chocolates: As if a free wine tasting wasn’t enough, KRM Chocolates was also offering free samples. I tried some of their Peanut Butter Bark, and it was chocolate/peanut butter ecstasy in my mouth. I promptly bought a box and added a second box of their Fruit and Nut Bark, a dark chocolate and berry mix. I tried that one when I got home, and even though I don’t usually care for dark chocolate, I got hooked. Notice how the boxes are swiftly depleting?
Look them up. Right now. I’ll wait . . .
–LuLaRoe Clothing with Melissa Cloutier Donegan. This clothing line is always a hit with the ladies, and for a very good reason. My wife says they’re “the most comfortable clothes she’s ever worn.” High praise!
I was kind of glad she couldn’t attend the event, because she’s becoming a bit of an addict. Lula’s Anonymous, anyone?
Seriously, though, they sell great stuff for that special girl or woman in your life, so they’re worth checking out.
-I may or may not have purchased gifts from the other vendors, who shall remain nameless, because my wife is likely to read this blog, so no offense to anyone I didn’t mention!
Anyway, that’s a rap! Thanks to everyone who came out last night, and a BIG THANKS to Erik and Sky, the owners of IncrediBREW.
Thanks for reading!
